I am a UK citizen living in the US. I have flown back and forth to the UK with virgin 6 six times in 4 years. I would not consider any other airline. I usually go straight to their website to book flights as I have never been able to find it cheaper using any other site like cheap tickets or expedia etc.
One time when booking flights for my pregnant wife and i we asked for bulkhead seats for extra room. When we arrived at the airport to check in the staff at the check in counter were expecting us and gave us the best seats they could find.
During the flight the cabin staff checked on my wife several times to make sure she was comfortable.
The entertainment is good with up to date movies and you will never go hungry on a virgin atlantic flight. I would definitely recommend virgin atlantic

Advantages: About as comfortable as flights get, great package of free stuf fthat they give you. Disadvantages: Never a stewardess around when you need one.
Advantages: None. Just a standard airline service. Disadvantages: Lose your valuables. Unfriendly, unhelpful staff. Arrogant and dismissive customer service.
