I joined the flying club by accident almost. Virgin is one of my favourite airlines so I tend to fly with them even when it's not the cheapest option. Last year I took 3 flights with them and when I checked in for the last flight I took with them the lovely check in assistant asked me I was a member of the Virgin Flying Club. She explained how easy it was to earn Miles, and all about the different partners I could earn with. Our return flight from London to Dubai gave me just over 5000 flying points, this enabaled me to save £300 on two flights to San Francisco in the summer by redeeming 4000 of the points! I even earned 1000 points by getting my partner to join. They operate a tier system the more points you have the better the deals you get. You can find a full breakdown on the Virgin Atlantic website. I'm over the moon at the money I have saved all for nothing but brand loyalty!
