Anyone flying to the States should definitely fly with Virgin. It is the best airline that I have ever used. My flight to San Francisco was very comeptitively priced in comparison to other big airlines such as British Airways or KLM. The staff are very friendly. Service is good. The aircraft is clean and well maintained. The seats are comfortable with good leg room which is important when you are 5ft 10inches. I really enjoyed the food that was served as well which is something for me as I always hate airline food. We got ice cream snacks - very refreshing. The best thing is the on flight entertainment - you will never be bored on a Virgin flight because there is so much on offer. You get you on screen, an option of films and even game boy.
