VitaSol Park offers spacious, self-catering accommodation.This pretty complex consists of low-rise accommodation blocks, each of which houses a number of different apartments. All of the accommodation is extremely spacious, with large open-plan living and dining areas, as well as kitchen facilities. Each apartment also has a large balcony overlooking the pretty gardens.VitaSol Park has an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts for guests use. There is also a separate childrens pool and a playground for the younger guests. There is also an on-site snack bar (seasonal) serving a range of refreshments.The VitaSol Park is approximately 1km away from Meia Praia Beach and from the centre of Lagos.

Advantages: clean Disadvantages: quite far from alcudia centre
I stayed at this hotel with my 2 friends for a week and found it to be quite far away from alcudias nightlife, it was about 3euros to get there in a taxi, although this was not a problem it was a lot of hassle trying to find a taxi there and back every night.If you want to stay around the centre of playa de muro there a a number of restaurants but most entertainment is centred round the larger hotels, there is very few bars. At hotel LagoPark 2, there is not much in the way of entertainment, we went in high season and there was no entertainment in the day, and not very high quality at night. The rooms are of a reasonable standard, air conditioned although we didnt realise this until the last night, and a very powerful shower!! There was a reasonable selection of snacks at the bar for at lunchtime. I would definately return to Alcudia ...

was very young and I couldn't work out how to make gravy without Oxo cubes. Nowadays you can buy lots of English food items but they are usually double the UK price or things like Marmite possibly three times the price. Apart from small shops Lagos has large supermarkets like Pingo Doce, Intermarche and Modello's.
On Saturday morning a fruit and vegetable market is held in the Cooperative Market next to the bus station. This is a fantastic array of colour, character and moving donkeys and vehicles as the country people from the hills all try to park in familiar spots to unload their home grown produce. One of my favourite weekend treats and not to be missed.
Well, I hope I have covered everything. I have enjoyed writing this review and feel a bit sunnier than I did this morning. I think I am kidding myself when I say I am not homesick ...
Advantages: sunny!! friendly, relaxed, picturesque Disadvantages: can be a bit too hot, not much shade, constantly people trying to sell daytrips
on a hotel or resort/holiday destination, is Holiday Watchdog, which tells the whole truth and nothing but the truth on every detail and quetion posible.
PERSONAL TIP:
dont go to the chinese restaurant in the centre of lagos! terrible service, cramped room with tables right beside each other and they laughed at us when we spoke!!!!!

I went to Lagos for a week with my boyfriend last summer. It was a brilliant experience! You pronounce Lagos as Lagosh. The currency is in Euros.
About an hours drive in the bus from Faro airport. Pleasant jouney in the Thomson bus provided. Brief tour involved in this journey as the holiday rep gives details on the area and interesting facts, I still remember that talk to this day.
Lagos seems to thrive on tourism as everything is aimed at tourists. Hotels and appartments ...
