I have travelled to India with Voyage Jules Verne last Christmas, on a tour called Secrets of Rajasthan. From the moment I called their UK office to book to the time I flew out of Heathrow, I had to ring their reservations department several times to chase various documents, from the booking confirmation to the travel documents a few days before departure.
The staff never really made an effort to sound interested, and were sometimes on the verge of being rude... It took me great time and effort to finally receive my documents on time.
It is a pity that their UK admin is such a let down, as the organisation once we reached our destination, New Dehli, was excellent. All ground arrangements were handled by Kuoni, by whom Voyages Jules Verne has been bought last year. Neither transport or accomodation could be faulted, first class service during the whole itinerary!
The conclusion is I would travel with them again, as the whole package was such good value for money, but only if I felt that my nerves were strong enough to battle with their reservations department in order to get away in the first place!
