fortress, this apartment complex is just 5 minutes walk from the heart of Prague city centre.Such a convenient location features excellent transport links including the subway and motorway nearby. Yet the residence is within easy reach of all the major attractions, such as Wenceslas Square in the city centre, Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, the old town square and the historic Jewish quarter. There is also a park in the vicinity which offers wonderful views of the castle, river and the city itself.Despite the architectural wonders which surround it, this 20th century building houses a traditional yet international restaurant and suitable contemporary accommodation for individual travellers, family holidays and business people alike.

Advantages: Great view Disadvantages: Waste of money
As some of you will know from my other review I visited Prague recently. I didn't include Prague Castle in that review because it seemed like the review was already really long but as it is one of the main attractions.
This review is going to be really mixed because there is so much to Prague castle. It's really like going to a little village because there is so much to the castle and the area around it and if you want to see it all then you'll need to spend the entire day there.
-Tickets-
I bought a Prague Card and got the short tour free on that but if you don't have a prague card the prices are:
Short Tour- 250 crowns (£9.22)
Long Tour-350 Crowns (£12.90)
You can also pay to get into individual attractions and discounts are available, as well as family tickets.
(Please not that the currency in Prague is changing so ...

Advantages: Reasonably cheap accomodation Disadvantages: No in house Restaurant, No Room Service
The accomodation
Upon checking in to the accomodation I was asked for my Passport, so they could check the details of the booking I had made under my own name. I guess they use this procedure against breakages and in case of theft, trouble etc. I have not known this to be a feature in accomodation in England. This company procedure did not bother me whatsoever.
I travelled alone to this accomodation, having booked a small room, however when I was shown my room I am sure it would have been suitable for two people. As I was staying in prague for two nights on a leisurely short city break, this did not particularly bother me too much regarding the standard of the facilities. When I was shown my room there were two single Bed's situated side-by-side. The Bed's to my eyes looked nineteen eightees style old fashioned beds ...
Advantages: A luxurious way to enjoy this beautiful city! Disadvantages: It's not exactly centrally located. A minor irritation if you're a tourist.
It's rare, I know. My young son, Josh (Bless 'im), who is now 4 years old doesn't feature in the body of this review since he stayed with his Grandmother whilst I treated Amanda to a St Valentine's / pre-40th birthday trip to Prague. Had the weather been warmer, I reckon that he would actually have loved it, since Prague actually has quite a lot on offer for kids, even if it's billed as a fairly adult location. We spent two nights there, stayed at the Hilton, and concentrated on more grown-up things. I'm certainly not saying that we hired the prostitutes that, apparently, are two-a-penny. I'm just saying that we didn't watch a single episode of "Scooby Doo" during our very pleasant stay. And, frankly, that was something of a relief (with full apologies to Scooby, Scrappy and the rest of the litter).
So - down to the review proper ...
A lovely, traditional, family run hotel, decorated in a 19th Century, Bohemian style. Officially rated 4 star. Good room facilities and nice restaurant serving Czech specialities. Located near the Vysehrad, Prague's oldest monument andclose to an underground station just three stops from Wenceslas Square. Close to Exhibition Centre. Quiet location and excellent value.
