Advantages: An amazing idea, it allowed us to see a lot more of New York Disadvantages: Not always spaces upstairs, Annoying and Disrespectful Tour Guides
hotel. This last tour guide seemed great, it was a shame we were only on the bus for five minutes as she seemed very knowledgeable and it might have been nice to get the night bus and see NewYork at night.
The Bus
The Bus was bright red, and looked just like a double decker bus. If you sat in the middle at the top you had a great view of the city, however if you were stuck at the front on the top or if you were stuck at the bottom, you could barely see anything which was a shame. We were a little bit worried on the trip from Statun Island Ferry to Rockefeller Centre when it started to rain a little bit. We were told when we brought the tickets that the bus has a roof on it if it starts to rain, well we later learnt this was a lie, they give you all macs if it begins to rain and this is your ?roof?.

Advantages: Fabulous shopping, bargains, great sights Disadvantages: You will be tired and have foot pain at the end of the trip
Ever since I was a teenager I had always wanted to go to NewYork City. It was probably the influence of TV shows such as Friends and Will & Grace but since then I've always wanted to see what life in the big apple was like.
There's the shopping (my number one priority!), the sights, the shows, the food, the list is endless.
I was nearly 25 when I finally made it over there, as part of a family trip with my mum, dad and sister.
I'd never been on an aeroplane for longer than two hours before, and I'm quite a nervous flyer, but the seven hours on Continental Flight CO21 from Manchester to Newark, New Jersey absolutely flew by (pardon the pun)!
Other friends and colleagues who had travelled to America previously had said about the lines at immigration so as soon as we landed everyone was ready and we walked as fast as we ...

Ciao members have rated this review on average: very helpful Review of New York City
Advantages: Brilliant location, modern, big room, huge TV, one of the cheapest hotels Disadvantages: Breakfast is expensive, toilet blocked a couple of times, not enough lifts
The Park Central Hotel NewYork is in a brilliant location on 56th and 7th right in the centre of everything. A 10 minute walk downtown brings you to Times Square, 2 blocks uptown takes you to Central Park, 5th Avenue shopping is just 1 or 2 blocks to the east and a subway station 20 seconds away to take you to wherever else you want to go. Carnegie Hall is directly opposite and the Rockefeller Centre is less than 10 minutes away. The hotel is surrounded by gift shops and cafes and there's a nice little Irish bar just opposite. The location really couldn't get any better.
When we first arrived it was difficult for us for find but that was only because we didn't have a map with us and because the grid system is so confusing at first. We were walking up and down for about 20 minutes until we eventually came across it at practically ...
