(first one being realising that I actually liked the food when I was sure I would not) - the bill came to less than £25 for the two of us! Bearing in mind that my friend had brought a 2 for 1 voucher which took about £7 off the bill I still think this is close to ridiculously cheap. In all we had a really great night and I left the restaurant feeling satisfied and happy to have found this great place.
Since my first time at Wagamama I have returned on numerous occasions and I do make an effort to visit different branches as much as possible. I even went to Wagamama's when I was in Auckland! Sad some may say, but I have found a place where I have never had a bad meal or bad service yet, and all this to very low prices. The food is fresh, with ingredients delivered daily and the food is comparatively nutritious although it is also quite ...

Advantages: Food is tasty and usually comes promptly. Disadvantages: Large cost compared to amount of food, not brilliant seating
Tasty, but expensive.
Main meals sometimes contain good quantities of meat, some do not.
Price does not seem to always reflect this.
I paid nearly 10 quid for a Wagamama special ramen meal and received 1 prawn in it, on asking for more prawns I was told 1 prawn was the amount you get. You apparently get 2 if you order the seafood variety. Absolute rip off.

Usually good service and a nice enough atmosphere, only gripe in this respect is the benches have no back to the seats so when you're full and want a little support... you're in trouble.
If they lowered the prices of the side dishes a little and provided a bit more meat in ...

Wagamama's oxford
Wagamama's first UK restaurant opened in Bloomsbury in1992. At first its restaurants were limited to London and Dublin. However the outlet now boasts 50 UK restaurants and one of its newest openings is this Oxford restaurant, which opened, in September last year.

For anyone who knows the area the restaurant is in the former pub that was Bar Oz. This was a fairly low key opening which no information in the local press and it was that I stumbled upon it whilst going for a baguette in the market at lunchtime did I realise that Oxford finally has a Wagamama's.
This is a chain that my girlfriend first introduced me to some time earlier ...
