I stayed at this Hotel in November, when I went to the nearby Liverpool Empire Theatre to watch a Ballet. The staff on Reception were very easygoing & professional.
At £74.00, including buy one get one free on their exquisite full english breakfast is very reasonable, especially when you are allowed to stay out until 2am!
I used to attend the Liverpool Institute for Performing Art, which is just around the corner from the Feathers. The day we went to the Ballet, this hotel was the best located as it was halfway between LIPA, and the Empire. Parking is available off road, in the multiplex and across the street. Lime street Station is closest, then over opposite McDonalds, the Central Railway Station is located.
The Chefs are superb, and a nice variety of foods is freshly prepared.

Yes Man is a comedy starring Jim Carrey. The film is based on a book by Danny Wallace and basically tells the story of a man who starts to say ?Yes? to every opportunity that comes his way regardless of what it is. Interestingly enough Danny Wallace makes a little appearance sitting at the bar, I knew it was him as I had seen him on Richard and Judy some time ago talking about his book and his experiences of deciding to say yes to every opportunity.
The main character in the film is Carl Allen who is played by Jim Carrey. Carl is a bit of a miserable man, he says no to everything at work and in his personal life. His friends are starting to give up on him because he wont go out with them and makes up lame excuses about why he cant meet them. than I had taken with me and I left mine to be added to the library at the end of the week.
The location is a huge advantage, 70 metres from a quiet, beautiful white sandy beach leading into warm clear waters that had very small waves, the sea here is safe for children as the beach shelves very little, in fact I had to wade out a long way to get deep enough to swim but it really was lovely.
The area is flat and so wonderful for walking or cycling, you can hire bicycles, tandems or those things that four people ride around on locally, you can take a bus or taxi into Palma itself or you can hire a car and explore the beautiful island of Majorca, we have done all of those in the past so didn't this time. The taxi rank is just a few minutes walk away or the hotel staff on duty will phone for a taxi if asked. I don't recommend this though ...
