DULLES AIRPORT - WASHINGTON DC - UNITED STATE of AMERICA There were 400 passengers on our flight and we all disembarked at the same time to be greeted by a voice shouting out a number from 1 to 10 and pointing to a door we were politely but abruptly ushered in a orderly fashion into what seemed like small rooms with seats in, as we sat waiting the doors closed and the room began to raise into the air and move forward, it turned out to be an inter-terminal bus. Wonderful, this was my first experience of American efficiency and hospitality. After about twenty minutes we had arrived at the terminal building and informed that our luggage was arriving on carousal Number 8. I think we watched most of the worlds travelling populations luggage arrive before at last, ONE of our cases turned up. Thinking the worst, we watched and waited, and low and behold our other case appeared. Now, we are entering one of, if not the most secure countries in the world. So with trepidation and a certain apprehension, we set of for immigration and custom control. What, I ask myself was all the worry for, cleared all the customs scanners and searches in minutes, into the immigration line, where we met our first speaking America. He was big, but a man of few words. It was more a grunt than a word. "Finger, Left Hand, Finger, right Hand, look into the camera, next" And so we passed through onto American soil for the first time. All in All, from landing to our entering the USA officially, took approximately forty minutes. Next we headed for the taxi rank where a very nice man whistled, pointed towards the front of a very, very long line of airport taxis, as we walked in the direction he pointed another man whistled, waved and opened the doors of what seemed like a limousine but was a large Chrysler taxi, suddenly our cases were lifted into a boot we were ushered inside and off we set, where, not even we knew. This is my first attempt at a review so would be grateful for any comments both good or bad, thank you
