Advantages: A great city with so many beautiful things to see and do. Disadvantages: Can't think of one!

The city itself is great for shopping and hanging out (esp. Rittenhouse Square, and the Old part of the city. The usual touristy things are there such as Independance Hall, Liberty Bell, City Hall & the Art Museum. There's a huge variety of restaurants and the city is also very gay friendly. A really cool place to go and see a film is 'The Ritz at the Bourse' which is very close to Independance Hall.
If you have access to a car, drive out to the King of Prussia Mall, which is huge and you can spend all day there shopping.
Philadelphia is about 1 hour West of Atlantic City, 2 hours South of New York and 2 Hours North of Washington - The train system is great (air conditioned, not usually very crowded and its very cheap compared to Britain). However, I took a bus up to New York on my last visit and it was about half the price...

...Although the hotel is situated in one of the best locations in New YorkCity (it is a couple of blocks away from the centre of Times Square), it lacks a little quality. The restaurant facilities are not up to much, especially breakfast-wise and the rooms are nothing special. However, it is better than most hotels in New York and the location does more than make up for the slight lack of quality. The hotel is situated in a midtown location which is ideal for shopping and seeing most of the NYC sites....
