Advantages: Situated in the heart of Mayfair Disadvantages: Expensive
...This is a wonderful hotel situated in the heart of Mayfair. It is a five-star hotel that backs onto Park Lane. The bedrooms are very comfortable and large in size. When I stayed there for the new year the service was friendly and the food was excellent. Although it is expensive to stay here it is thoroughly worth the money. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to stay in the West-end of London not far from Bond Street and Oxford Street. It is a good hotel to stay in for short shopping trips or for anyone going to London to see a show....

Advantages: Relaxing, simple, comparatively cheap. Disadvantages: Occasional delays, buffet still not exactly brilliant.
..., the real life jumping off spot for all mini wizards and witches. There were only muggles in evidence when I arrived, but again, I was impressed with the range of shops and services the station had to offer. Without needing to go outside (or through arrivals!) HURRAH!!
I really can't recommend the train enough for your journey to the south of England - or vice versa. Four and a half hours flew by, and I arrived refreshed, relaxed and with no anxiety. For those of you who still need convincing, here is a handy comparison:
Time spent getting to London by air:
Bus from my house to Princes Street - 15 min
Airport bus out to airport - 30 min
Check in time - one hour
Flight time - one...

Advantages: Location and price Disadvantages: Breakfast not included; views
...The Premier Travel Inn County Hall London is in an ideal location for tourists.
It's right next to the London Eye and the Thames as well as being close to the Houses of Parliament and many other attractions.
We only stayed one night, but the Premier Inn offered just what we were looking for - a cheap stay but in a clean and good quality room and hotel. Our room cost £86.95 for a Saturday night stay in early October.
As well as the bed, the ensuite rooms have a table and easy chairs, space to store your clothes, tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. There is also access to ironing facilities.
Check-in was easy and checking out was also quick and simple.
Although we couldn't get into our room until 2pm, there was no problem with leaving our luggage at the hotel.
Breakfast was not included, but was available at extra cost...
