We Will Rock You - Dominion Theatre

Advantages: Amazing music, very funny - unmissable
Disadvantages: Slightly weak storyline, potentially quite expensive.

...ever so slightly wrong! We have a woman called "Miss Loaf" and a big hairy man calling himself Britney Spears and they all live in the "Heartbreak Hotel" I think you get the idea! The whole aim of the two is to return rock music to the world, and in doing so, overthrow the evil Globalsoft. As I said earlier, the storyline is a little weak in places, but the point of this musical is not the story (is it ever?) but to set the scene for the music…. ...
...instead of "And everything , we want to know, we hear it on the radio" becomes "And everything, we want to get, we download from the internet", which sadly has become true of late. All of the great songs make an appearance of course, some modified, others not, but it is impressive how some of them seem to lend themselves so well to the story. ...came up by coach, and we went for a lovely meal at St Giles' Hotel, and then back round to the Dominion Theatre at the edge of Tottenham Court Road.
