You arive, on a VERY busy part of the M6 (ecpecially now the M6 TOLL looks after Birmingham) you can expect this stretch of road to be busy. Keele was one of the first service staions around, and none of it's actual shape has been changed. This is bad noweer days since Keele is left with no lift, no hotel and no shop. Anyway you turn off, take a light bend and then and then have to break suddenly (with traffic behind you!) and you have to chose from three roads (Lorries, Cars & Other).
But, once you do enter, the car park is never to busy, so you stop and head towards the main enterance. Just before the door is a cash machine, safely located in the open, near (but not too close) to the door.
As you enter, to your left is the gamezone, ahead are toilets. Now, dispite them being so old they are quite hi-tech, clean and smell nice. To your right is a cafe, situed beside the M6. Depending on the time you arrive you don't have to wait too long and the food is nice. Oppisite the toilets is the staircase up to the first floor (only accesable via steps)
On the first floor is first of all Red Hen. I havn't tried it but I have heard it is very nice. You then walk on to the bridge (not the best view, since the M6 is always gridlocked) but you have KFC and Burger King either end. I'm not going to lie, yes, if you come at 6pm then you will have to wait 5 minutes t obe served but what do you excpet? And, considering the price of services, not too expensive either. The cafe is clearley marked "smoking" and "non-smoking". The seats are very spacious as well and the staff are always looking out for you and the kids.
Overall if you are a general daytime traveller I'm sure you will agree Keele is just GREAT :)
There really isn't enough information in this review.. Look at the diamond reviews for a very clear idea.. Lol.. Josh =)

HI welcome to ciao. It would be an idea to read and rate reviews in many other areas of the site, to give you an idea of what people like, that way it will help you see what rates highly. If you do edit this review, then please let me know, i'll happily come back and re-read/rate it for you. LArry
