A pleasant Bed and Breakfast a short distance from the city centre. Family room on top floor not designed for tall people however! The staff were very accommodating and the breakfast was very nice and plentiful. I stayed in the family room on the top floor and apart from a badly positioned TV and the extremely small bathroom, the room was clean and tidy. The bed and breakfast is situated just outside the city centre but is only a 5 minute minute walk. Checking in was a bit of a problem as you cannot check in until after 16.30 hours however this is stated when you book so it didn't come as a surprise when we couldn't get into the hotel upon our arrival. This bed and breakfast is situated close to the bus station and just five minutes walk from the very centre of town. We arrived in Turku by train and walked the route in ten minutes so the location is good yet still quiet.
Look hard, it's not easy to spot. The doorway looks like all the doorways on the block which is full of shops and offices. There is an entry buzzer to let you in; once you check in you'll have a key for this door. The B and B is up a couple of flights and there's no lift. It's not too bad but people with mobility problems should be aware of this.

My son loves his too, and although he was a bit bemused on Christmas morning, he says he wouldn't part with his now. The advertising claims it can help "promote deeper, more restful sleep, release stress and relax muscles." Well, I don't have any problems sleeping, more like difficulty getting up in the morning for work and this doesn't make it any easier! Previously I always slept on two pillows but when lying on the feather bed, the top part seems to elevate slightly, so I now use only one.
