Westover Hall is beautiful Grade II listed mansion overlooking Christchurch bay and the Isle of Wight needles.

On entering the hotel you are welcomed by a grand reception area with staircase which leads up to suites and rooms... there is also a sun room on the 1st floor which is enclosed & has a table that seats 10 for a special meal with a view of the ocean.

"Rooms"
We stayed in the Needles room which had as you would expect a beautiful view of the needles.. each room has a fresh fruit bowl & tea and coffee as well as everything else you would expect from a hotel of this calibre... plus gorgeous Molten Brown toiletries and fluffy robes left me feeling relaxed and ready for bridesmaid duties!

My grandmother stayed in a newly renovated cottage/room outside which had 2 single beds and a small lounge, it was very self contained and beatifully decorated!

"Rates"
The rates range from £206 for a standard room bed & breakfast all the way up to £512 for a suit that sleeps 4 inclu breakfast!

"Restaurant"
The restaurant has 2 AA red rosettes. During our stay I had breakfast, lunch and dinner & then the following day a wedding breakfast with buffet - all of which was exceptional. I had just found out that I was pregnant so was new to adapting my diet... sauces were changed, different menu options provided all without fuss or delay - I really was surprised at how far above and beyond the waitresses & the chef went to accommodate me!!

"Outside"
The patio area is nicely kept and runs into a garden that literally leads you to a costal path - we stayed in August and a walk in the morning after breakfast was so refreshing - some people that stayed over were even inspired to go for a run!

This hotel is perfect for:

• A romantic weekend get away
• A decadent wedding
• A special family meal

The restaurant is open for non-residenets which could be considered as the over night stay isn't cheap.. one thing I will say is that it was worth every penny!
