Whetherspoons has to be the cheapest place to eat and drink in London. Well I have not found any cheaper yet.
Weatherspoons is a chain and they have them all over the country.
They have a great menu and serve all kinds of drinks. You name it they are likely to have it. They have great promotions on during the week and some bottles only cost £1 others are about £1.75.
They also do 2 meals for £5.75, £6.50 in central London.
I usually always have the Lamb Whether burger as I feel this is the best value for money, the bigest and most filling dish on the menu.
There is no TV's and no music in these pubs so I feel it is a great place to meet and have a chat, especially if it is with someone you haven't seen in ages and you have loads to catch up on.
I know some of their branches do play music on the weekends. These are usually the ones in student towns which attract a lot more students than any other types of people. For example the one in St Albans, Herts plays music and the one in Northampton plays music.
I recomend this pub because it is cheap and most people are always on the look out to save money, well if they have any sense that is.
I usually go to Wehtherspoons once a month or every two with my partner just to make a change to cooking and to go out.
I recomend this chain to anyone who wants cheap drinks and cheap food which fills you up.
