The Wetlands Preserve has been a haven for hippies and Deadheads for over a decade. This club has continually provided jamband fans with great live music at affordable prices. The Club was founded with a Deadhead ethic. Many Dead cover bands play regular gigs here. They also feature many jam bands.
Phish, Blues Traveler, moe., Spin Doctors, String Cheese Incident among others have graced the stage. They offer a diverse range of musical styles from ... ...and rap. Bernie Worrell of P-Funk fame and Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks from the Allman Brothers Band have done numerous gigs here.
Wetlands also provides a forum for ecological and political issues. Many brochures and petitions are on display in the club. They sometimes have events geared toward benefitting these causes. This is part of the club credo to have a social conscience as well as to provide entertainment.
