...if you get the chance to visit hong kong make for the new territories and see the real hong kong and its people. You can take an organised tour or get off the beaten track and plan your own tour up there. It is one of the most fasincating places on earth. If you want to stay in the heart of hong kong and do the tourist things thats great as there are loads of things to do. Do try and eat in one of the side street cafes very cheap and cheerful....

...One of the cheapest ways to travel around Hong Kong is to cross the between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon by the harbour ferry.
This is the cheapest boat ride you will ever take in your life and the crossing takes about 15 minutes. You then have the chance to choose which cabin you sit in the upper deck or first class for $1.50 Hong Kong Dollars or 2nd class on the lower deck for about $1 this costs in British pence between 8 - 12p depending whether you feel rich enough to sit up in first class. I wonder if Star ferries offers Frequent Flyer miles

...Hong Kong is the greatest city in the world, there is plenty to do, plenty to eat and plenty to see.
In HongKong, u will surely notice the great bond between the english and the chinese culture. It is an amazing city always full of life, u can choose the various activites to entertain yourself, from sightseeing, doing tai chi with the older generation in parks during the morning or taking a fancy in enjoying dim sum for breakfast.
However, if you are in for a more exciting time, the night life is great. Karoke is a popular activity in Hongkong. It is avaible almost anywhere, its cheap, with food and drinks and the most needed -air conditioning.
