Whitby has now become an all season resort but sadly in the last few months it seems someone forgot to tell Whitby. Looking around and at the amount of retail trading that is disappearing it seems everything this delightful fishing port has to offer is sadly going amiss. Despite this I love Whitby to bits and am looking forward to the imminenet Goth festival which I think is around April. Love to see all the pomp and ceremony and am fascinated by people's enthusiasm. Whitby has so much and thre friendliness of the people doesn't go unnoticed. One valuable asset I discovered was on Skinner Street where a fab coffee shop opened last year called Becketts and is so dog friendly. Another reason to visit Whitby is the miles of coast walks and how better to end your day by the friendliness and great cakes at this cafe. Welcoming to see dogs allowed with well behaved owners.
