Queensway is one of my favourite parts of London and I have stayed there several times in flats owned by Malaysian family friends. The most convenient place to go shopping nearby is the ultra-modern,one-stop-shopping mall of Whiteleys. My husband told me it was once upon a time a very traditional department store but today it a bright and breezy place and I can spend the whole day shopping for things to take back to Malaysia. There are loads of good shops and really there is no need to go to the West End to buy clothes,lingerie,English china, blouses for my daughter,its all available at Whiteleys. There are branches of Marks and Spencers,Benneton, and loads of other small shops.Its nice after a shopping spree to put your feet up and relax over a cup of tea and again there is ample choice as regards eateries and cafes at this huge complex. I am not much of a movie fan but there is even a cinema if you want to see a film.
