5* Service :o)
Review of Pennyhill Park Hotel, London by drahcir

Advantages: 30 miles from London
Disadvantages: Very expensive

...Set in the countryside just 30 miles from London, this hotel is definately the very best I have ever stayed at. Its a 5* hotel so I must warn you from the start that the cheapest room is £170 ex. VAT I was staying at the hotel for my sisters wedding and it is the perfect venue, it had a heated outdoor swimming pool, well-equipped gymnasium, two restaurants and two bars ..... what more can I say. During the week appartently they hold major conferences for big players in the financial market. But at the week-end its perfect for people like you and me. Local attractions included Windsor castle and a town full of pubs :)... Read review

Another great old English Institution
Review of The Windsor, Melbourne by helencbradshaw

Advantages: Luxury
Disadvantages: None

...How fitting that in this Jubilee year, this opinion should be about this Royal Hotel, once even owned by Her Majesty. Confused? Read on. During my spell working abroad in Sydney, I frequently had to travel to Melbourne, to visit clients of our organisation. These trips were usually just one or two days in duration. Whenever I had to make the trip, which was about every other week on average, I tried to ensure I could get a room booking at The Windsor Hotel. The Windsor Hotel stands at Spring Street, Melbourne. It is a Five Star Hotel. It is also a member of the Oberoi chain, and is one of the Leading Hotels of the World, and one of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Now I wouldn't want you to think I was picky, but hey why not get spoilt on occasion. We actually had a really good corporate rate with the Hotel, and we paid from... Read review

Review of Odeon Palace Hotel, Cairo by orcada

Advantages: Nice and Cheap.
Disadvantages: smelly elevator.

...Stayed at this Hotel last January and it was a bargain for the price. it's got an old style reception and for some unknown reason it had a Ford Prefect parked outside!!! (whether some one was actually using it or whether it was there as some some of hotel advertising ploy I don't know) the rooms were ok, with reasonable en-suites and like most places in Cairo it had two single beds instead of a nice double. The hotel also has a pretty good rooftop bar waiter service and with a limited view of Cairo. the bar's toilets are also kept clean by an efficient attendant who likes his tips. (these toilets were probably the cleanest I'd seen in Cairo except for McDonalds.) Breakfast wasn't bad considering the price. I would stay there again if I were on a budget, but I preferred the atmosphere of the Windsor Cairo. (also downtown) The Odeon... Read review
