We stayed at the Windway House for 3 nights during a recent short trip to wonderful Ireland.
We spent most of the day in Dingle and later arrived at the Windway House rather late. The owner/manager, Frank greeted us at the door by our name and was very very welcoming.
He escorted us to our room for the duration of the stay and toured us around. He pointed out a book, which had the password for free Wi-Fi access (actually this was the only place that we had access to the web from for the entire trip), and also showed us the computer for those who did not have a laptop with them, to use.
He went through the breakfast choices with us and much much more.
This was the only place in Ireland we've ever stayed in that actually had all of the important information written down for you to use and take away on days out.
Frank also gave us an excellent town map for free and asked what we had in mind to doing while we were there in order that he could give some suggestions.
The room was a lovely size and very clean.
The bathroom was sparkling! Frank was such a wonderful host that he was constantly striving to make sure we had the best stay ever. E.g. he bought "to go" coffees in order that we could take our morning coffee with us on our drives around the area and he also noted that we had a bottle of Champagne, which he then put in the refrigerator with our room number on it.
Each morning he would ask us how our evening went and if he could do anything for us. Breakfast was excellent and he always checked to see that there was enough food and drink to our satisfaction.
Without a shadow of a doubt, we would stay here again and suggest the Windway House to anybody we know!!
