Advantages: Budget airline with good connections between UK and eastern europe Disadvantages: Poor booking system and inaccesible customer service
I booked a flight for my girlfriend from Katowice to Gatwick for Saturday, March 29th 2008. The booking appeared to be completed successfully using their using their online booking system at www.wizzair.com. A payment of 208 zl (£47) for the flight was taken on my credit card. At the end of the booking process a sum of 12 zl (£3) was shown as pending. I presumed that this was a credit card fee and that it would be taken later as there is no restriction ... ...girlfriend arrived at the check-in she was told that her booking was pending (even though payment had been taken and her name was on the passenger list) and she could not be checked in. She went to speak with the Wizzair representatives who first contacted their Wizzair's office in Warsaw and eventually Wizzair's head office in Hungry. Neither office was able to confirm the status of the booking or explain why there had been a problem. I have been ...

Advantages: Good service and friendly staff Disadvantages: terrible colour of the planes!
I have only used Wizz Air on the Liverpool - Katowice route. Using Liverpool airport is a God send because I don't have to use Manchester. At the other end Katowice's airport is small, not many planes land there each day. This is just the way I like it!!
Booking online is fairly simple like other budget carriers. There are more and more destinations opening up into central and eastern europe. Flights also leave UK airports from Luton, Glasgow and ... ...says Liverpool to Krakow with Wizz Air. The flight is to Katowice Airport (good way north of Katowice) which is nearly 2 hours drive away. Wizz do operate a bus or mini-bus to Krakow but this first drives into the city centre of Katowice and seems to take forever!
Secondly the flights can be at unsocialable times, such as arriving early hours of the morning or leaving 6 am in the morning.
Thirdly the taxes seem to be higher when booking through ...

Advantages: None as they cancelled the service that I paid for Disadvantages: They cancel flights without informing customers, leave you stranded with no way of getting home
I was due to fly back from Poland, Katowice airport on 24th July 2008 - as normal I always check on the internet for delays etc. On checking flights out of Katowice to Belfast I could not find my flight and decided to give Wizzair a call and unfortunately was on hold by telephonic robot for over an hour at a cost of £1.00 per minute. At this stage I was very angry and decided to call Belfast International airport who kindly told me that Wizzair had ... ...the 17th of July. I was devastated, I, my heavily pregnant wife and my 2 year old daughter were left stranded in Poland and had no way of contacting Wizzair. I looked on the internet for alternative flights and they were a fortune - the best I could do was to fly from Prague the following Sunday, 4 days later and a 5 hour journey by car. I have since sent multiple emails to Wizzair and have had no response. I would not recommend this airline to anyone ...

...(unlike other budget airlines) Wizz staff kept us informed throughout, so we felt respected as customers. (Made use of the time suntanning in the park outside Zagreb airport, so were ok with it.)
Food: more or less the same as other budget airlines; bland, and expensive for what it is. As a rule we buy or bring food ahead of time if flying this way.
Both ways, we flew on some kind of Boeing, and had very comfortable, spacious, and cushy (!) pleather-covered ...

Advantages: Cheap, Great beer, Friendly locals Disadvantages: Not being able to speak a word of their language!
...I went to Gdansk in Sept 07, and had a great 3 days, the whole trip was an absolute bargain. We flew with WizzAir from Doncaster and stayed at the budget GRYF HOTEL which is fairly central and next to the anchor statue memorial, and just a short walk from the main sights. We took a train to Sopot for a day to visit the beach which cost around 40p for a return ticket. Sopot is very nice and has a huge strip of bars and restaurants down a long pier to the sea. After a short walk down the beach we stumbled upon beach bar where we sampled a few more local beers. Amazing and was really hot weather, so we had chosen a good day for it. Sampled many polish lagers over the 3 days i was there and ate nice food. Pizza, pasta ( not very Polish i know) and as a last night treat to use up some Zolty, we went to one of the nice restaurants next...

The transport links have also improved immensly! A bus service now connects the airport with the city centre every 10 minutes. There are also bus routes to Londonderry, Coleraine, Omagh and a host of new and cross border destinations starting soon.
Parking at the airport has also changed significantly, the 8,000 space car park is now operated by Q-Park who have introduced a host of improvements. A new free shuttle bus service which brings customers right to the airport entrance at 5-minute...

Companies
The companies which fly from Ciampino include:
"Blue Air
CentralWings
easyJet
FlyMe
HLX
Lviv Airlines
Norwegian Air Shuttle
Ryanair
Sterling
Wizz-Air" (wikipedia.org accessed 07/01/06)
I fly Ryanair all the time.
Disability provision
This really could be improved upon. There is inadequate seating air-side and when it comes to the priority boarding; to be fair is a joke. Yes, you get to stand in the queue first but this means you get on the silly little buses first which means you get off them last and end up on the plane last. Can't help but feel they have to be doing something productive but haven't quite thought it through. Not sure about wheelchair provision as my father doesn't like asking for it...

Logitech MX air is an attempt to make a revolution. There were no changes in recent years for mouse devices and innovations were caring about sensors or there were slight modifications of buttons or
adding more buttons. A little revolution was long time more
