for the background on such a place as a safari park, a review on Longleat would not be the same without a brief background as the park itself holds so much history which is one huge aspect which makes the park so successful. I wish that I could cover everything, though half the fun of visiting this wonderful place is learning about the history for yourself, so allow me to give you a very brief background to Longleat.
Longleat Safari Part is set within a huge 900 acres of beautiful landscaped countryside with the amazing Longleat manor at the focal point, with its Elizabethan architecture and astounding views.

Advantages: Great value, great fun, fantastic lunch, stunning views, the only way to see the countryside Disadvantages: THe visit to the Turkish home was very uncomfortable
of transport is not really an option for me. Luckily, most tourist destinations offer a jeep safari and Dalyan is one of those places. A jeep allows the ?al fresco? experience, and with the capability of going both off and on road it is a great way of seeing the sites.
Tour operators
There are many different operators offering the jeep safari in Dalyan, including Kaunos Tours (who we went with), Ertac, Brilliant Tours and Ozalp amongst many others.
On our tour, we saw many of the other operators at various places throughout the day, therefore suggesting that the route around Dalyan is pretty standard. This is good since it means that we did not miss out on any of the ?best? places or have to go on a another safari with an alternative operator to ensure we saw everything.

The West Midlands Safari park opened in 1973.
The park has got a 4 mile safari and this contains over 600 animals from around 30 different species from Europe, Africa, Asia and others.
They have a theme park as well which is next to the safari park as well. They have a reptile and insect house as well which IS easy for people to view and a sea lion area.
Some of the animals in the safari are on the endangered list such as the jumping rat. This park contains 15 white lions which is the largest amount in the entire United Kingdom.
