Towndoesn't lack for recordings, including two good studio casts from 1998 and 1999. Yet the uncommonly funny show hadn't received a proper Broadway revival until this 2003 production. As Ruth Sherwood, a role created by Rosalind Russell, Donna Murphy gives a glorious five-star star performance, and nowhere is it more obvious than on "Conga!" and "Swing", the latter a delirious spoof of 1950s Greenwich Village hipsterisms. As Eileen Sherwood, Jennifer Westfeldt doesn't have the crystalline pipes of Audra McDonald (from the 1999 album) but she gives a warm performance that comes across well on CD. The rest of the cast is studded with pros who take obvious delight in the show, and music director Rob Fisher polishes Bernstein's score to a gleam. Truly, Broadway doesn't get much better than this.--Elisabeth Vincentelli, Amazon.com

Advantages: Great scenery and travel links and a generally great place Disadvantages: You might get rained on
...There are many places to eat in and around Wrexham. I'll name a few in the town centre, but also give you some little gems to try in some of the little villages. Most are only a 5/10 minute taxi ride away from the centre.
Town Centre:
Anise - Indian restaurant. Absolutley lovely and about a two minute walk from town.
Sleepy Panda - Excellent Chinese. Have never had a bad meal here.
Domelli's - Italian, great pasta
Lemon Tree - a mixture of food but mostly Italian. Is also a small hotel.
Dao Siam - A wonderful Thai restaurant
Other places
Golden Groves - Rossett
The Alyn - Rossett
The Trevor - Rossett
The Gredington - Borras
The Beeches - Gresford
Holt Lodge - Holt
The Grosvenor - Pulford
Country Spice - Hope
There are just far too many to mention!

...on a Friday or Saturday night for 'Car Cruise In America'. Everyone turns up with their classic cars. You can walk around and take a look at them. The best part is when they cruise the streets of Old Town. Don't worry if you miss it, they do have several cars there permanently. For the motorcycle lovers check out Thursday night's bike "Nite".
Also check out the live entertainment at the weekends. They have a stage in the centre area of Old Town. We have seen teenage girl bands, country and western, rock'n'roll, and disco.
Final thoughts.
If you want to take a look back at a time long gone, then wonder down to Old Town. These wooden buildings house a lot of things to do. Don't forget to check out the 'General Stores', and pick up a 49 cents bottle of ice cold coke. Yes, that is the price, the only problem, if you drink diet coke like...

...Background
I spent the Easter bank holiday with my hockey team in Dublin at a hockey tournament. On the Sunday we were sick of hotel food and just generally being at the hockey grounds or at the hotel so we decided to go into Dublin for a late lunch.
I had been reading the Irish Independent at breakfast and noticed that they recommend 3 top places in Ireland to eat out that Easter Sunday. Town was one of 2 in Dublin. As the rest of the team seemed happy to go wherever for lunch we booked Town up a few hours before we were due to go. There were 15 of us in the party in total so we thought it was good to get it at such short notice. It was one of the best random finds ever so I asked Ciao to add this restaurant to their list as I think any of you going to Dublin in the near future would enjoy eating at this fab new restaurant...
