Wong Tai Sin, a boy who had magical healing powers and able to grant people there wishes, a temple was built so that people could pray to him, have their prayers answered.
It's a famous temple in HK but not the only one. The HK people like to worship in temples, it's part of the HK culture and people go there to pray for health and have their fortunes told.
