Advantages: Tranquil, lovely scenery, fantastic picnic spot, informal Disadvantages: Little in way of entertainment locally for those who need it
...My wife and I have just stayed for 2 nights at this B&B.
This is a place that you will either hate and wish to run away or, as we found, you will be delighted by the accommodation and location. The accommodation consists of restored outbuilding similar to crofts/bothies with either thatched or slate rooves. These are adjacent to the owner's cottage.
The property is situated about a mile "above" Ardara up a narrow, quiet road ascending a rocky hill clad with gorse and heather. Complete peace, quiet even solitude is guaranteed. No television, radio or other noise intrudes. The view to the Atlantic will enchant and the number and variety of small birds will delight.

Advantages: Great atmosphere, great food Disadvantages: Bit pricey

Everyone else enjoyed their meals and the chips, which we all grabbed, were delicious.
It was slightly...

Advantages: thatched cottage Disadvantages: unsanitary conditions (dirty bathtub) and cockroaches

I went down to town to get dinner and he then showed up at the restaurant. He told me he recognized my car out front of the restaurant and since we didn't have a chance to have tea earlier he figured he would catch up with me there. I thought he was trying to be hospitable. When I decided to leave, he then decided to leave. Upon returning to the Green Gate Paul was waiting for me to get out of the car and then told me to go to the edge of the parking lot and look at the view. Not wanting to be rude, I agreed. He followed and he then proceeded to kiss my cheek and try to take me by the hand. I found this behavior completely inappropriate! I quickly...
