Advantages: Central location in New Forest, swimming pool Disadvantages: kids not like food
...The Forest LodgeHotel was built in 1820 and was used as a hunting box by King George IV. The hotel retains much of its Georgian architecture and stands in its own grounds. It is located on the outskirts of the village of Lyndhurst in the heart of The New Forest in Hampshire. It is part of a chain of 4 hotels that come under the banner of New Forest Country House Hotels. This means that each hotel can be centrally booked and have the same cost and promotions. The guests have use of the other hotels' facilities but this is not that relevant as, even though they are all in The New Forest, they are not exactly round the corner from each other and anyway the facilities are much the same in them all.

...BARTLEY LODGEHOTEL
------------------------------------
I've stayed at this hotel dozens of times over the last 5 or 6 years, when I've been working in Hampshire. I've probably stayed in every room, eaten every item off the menu, outstayed most of the staff and taken up every space in the car parks.
If I tell you that I get to choose where I stay (within reason) and that there is plenty of choice of fine hotels in this area, then you will realise that I've developed a strong affection for the Bartley Lodge.
~~ LOCATION ~~
The hotel is located on the edge of the New Forest at Cadnam near Southampton, off the A337 near Junction 1 on the M27. Full location and contact details are as shown below:

Advantages: Fantastic rooms, friendly staff, great location Disadvantages: some of the other guests seem to think their a bit special!
...I've stayed at this hotel twice now, once when i was 10 with my mum and dad and once when i was 20 with my boyfriend, both times i've had a fantastic time and the only negative thing being other guests there, but we'll get to that later in the review!
Accomodation:
The hotel has 173 rooms, this is made up of 93 standard rooms which are the cheapest and have either twin or a kingsize bed, an ensuite bathroom usually with a bath and a shower. A kettle and small sachets of tea coffe, milk etc and some very delicious biscuits! A mini bar (as with most hotels this is a little on the pricey side e.g £1.20 for a mars bar!!!!) a safe, an ironing board and hairdryer, a phone, internet access and Sky TV and the usual pre pay movies as well as pre pay games for the playstion. These rooms are mostly at the back of the hotel and look out over...
