Woolacome Bay is one of three sites owned by the company, the other two are Golden Coast and Twitchen Park. All 3 of them are within the area of Woolacombe, and between them offer caravan camping and chalet facilities. The site offers all the basic thinsg that you would need to entertain you for most of the holiday - shops; club house/ bar/ restaurant; swimming pools; ptich and putt/ crazy golf; childrens playgrounds; takeaway; amusement arcades, and just plenty of open space for arranging those camp-wide games of football. All are resaonably priced, but of course this is just depedant on when you go. The site only has a licence to open from the end of March or Easter (whichever comes first), to the end of October. So if you want a holiday with all the fun but not the cost, then go when the schools aren't on holiday! As I said, the park is just outside of Woolacombe - close enough for the beach, endless ice creams and amusement arcades - but just far enough away from anywhere, so that you need to drive there. The views are outstanding, as you can look out over the beach from the top of the hill - and further out into the Atlantic Ocean. As already noted, there is plenty to do for all the family - from the energetic, to those who just want to simply sit by the pool and take in the atmosphere of the water polo that is going on just 3 feet away. And so if you want this type of holiday where you know that all will be happy, then go to Woolacombe Bay. The caravans are also well equipped, and have the usual things in - shower/ bathroom; bedrooms; TV; fully-equipped kitchen, and so on. It is just like a home from home - even for mum.
