The best value for money is places like the Jimmy Carter Presidential Centre it is a must for all people old and young and at $5 excellent value for money, here you can trace Carter's rise from peanut farmer to President through pictures articles and video, there is also a replica of the Oval Office. You will also see gifts from other coutries leaders and after you have finished, you can take a stroll around the Japenese Gardens or have a drink in the restaurant. Advantages: Great weather, lots of trees, culture diversity, nice houses and affordable Disadvantages: Over speeding on highways, can get pretty dry atimes
..., Atlanta is not short of its sights and sounds. It has the centennial park and a great big aquarium. CNN headquarters is located down town and one can enter and eat in the many eateries there all at reasonable price i must say. Close by is the Coca-cola centre which is head quartered there as well. They have a lovely experience of telling the story of coca-cola in a 3 floored building with lots to see and drink. Entry was $10 but well worth it.
I didn't have much time to scout out the city and that was just down town but the Westin was particularly picturesque. It is cylindrical in shape and glass all around and must be at least 40 to 50 storeys high.
Housing it Atlanta is nice and compared to the UK, really good. Fancy a two bed/two bath apartment with a balcony, electric cooker, washing machine and dryer, central air conditioning...

Advantages: Great climate, well laid out city, stuff to see and do all year round Disadvantages: Not the busiest city in terms of museums to see and places to visit

You can have a go at presenting the weather, and learn how they get away with vague hand gestures so their geographical knowledge doesn't have to be too in-depth. It is a walking tour up and down several flights of stairs, so not really suitable for people with mobility difficulties. They may have a disabled option available, but they don't advertise this well if this is the case.
The CNN studios are across from the Olympic park which is a nice, relaxing place to while a way an hour or two if you can cope with the odd person approaching you to check you have the lord in your life.
