There was six of us in the group that had travelled to Wroclaw for 4 days. After a good flight and transfer to the hotel we were ready for a stroll. The town square was our first stop. They seem to serve alot of the beer in a pint jug with a straw. On ordering you beer you also get a sanwich of dripping and the local sour bread, not for the figure consious. STANDING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BATTLE

This is a must Visit when in Wroclaw. It is withing 15 minutes walk of Town Square and is eay to find. Well signposted. Admission is 20 zaloties (approx £4). Entry is limited and a timed entry system is operated. As individuals you can not book in advance on their web site which only deals with organised groups. My tip is to plan your Visit for the morning, then if there are no early slots available you can book a time in the afternoon, leaving you ...

The painting is 110 meters long so completely surrounds the building, which was built especially to house the painting.
