Wroclaw Hotels

PATIO a very modern interior.

Advantages: Location only 60 yards from Old Town Square.
Disadvantages: Best to be shown to room on arrival.

We stayed at this Hotel in April 2006. Our flight was a Ryanair Flight from East Midlands to Wroclaw, flight times are good. Lunch time departure from East Midlands so in Wroclaw for about 15:00 Hours Local Time. Return flight same plane back so Depart Wroclaw about 15:30 back in EMA for 17:30. Quite civalisied. Paid about £38 return incuding taxes. Transfer to the Hotel was by Taxi about 50 Zeloties (5.3 to the pound) The Hotel is very centrally ...
...The reception to the Hotel was bright with pleasant staff. I think it would have been helpful if the staff had showed you to the room, the main reason being that the rooms seemed to be spead over several floors that also is shared with other Businesses. Review of Hotel Patio, Wroclaw

GOOD BASIC HOTEL WELL LOCATED

Advantages: PRICE and LOCATION
Disadvantages: As good for large parties, may bump into Stag parties.

HOTEL POLONIA. We group of 3 couples stayed for 3 nights in June 2007. Price for double room with breakfast for 3 nights was £78. Renovated rooms used. Large Rooms, clean but basic. Bathrooms large and excellent, plenty of hot water for strong showers. Breakfast good, plenty of breads, Cheese, meats, scrambled eggs and hot sausage. Tea/Coffee/Chocolate/Iced Water and juices. A step back in time!

Advantages: Errrrrr well it was reasonably cheap and not too far out of the city!
Disadvantages: It certainly isn't the Savoy that people might think of!

Two nights were needed in Wroclaw so I went to the tourist information centre in the main market square. I was on a budget admittedly so wasn't expecting a great place. So I was booked in to the Savoy!! As I left the tourist information I asked whether they will speak English, no came the reply! The reception is on the first floor and the middle aged receptionist was on the phone (her own personal mobile), clearly her phone call was many times more ...
...minutes waiting she finished this extremely important phone call and demanded my passport!!! Wow!! I thought I was crossing the board back in the communist days!! My room faced on to the busy square and so the room was very noisey and the window did not shut as it should. The room was clean and beds were fairly comfortable, the bathroom was en-suite and basic.
