...Wyndham Boston
Room rates:
We visited the Wyndham Boston in September 2005 and booked via the Wyndham's own website which not only guarantees the best rates (and this is true as I did a LOT of checking!) it also entitles you to membership of Wyndham By Request whereby you specify your room type preferences such as bedding and also a free welcome drink and snack upon arrival; a nice touch! We were also contacted on two occasions by our Wyndham Request Manager Jessica to check if everything was okay with our stay.

Advantages: Housing and land super-affordable, great shopping, restaurants, and cultural opportunities, theatre, museums, sports, international airport, rapid transit rail system Disadvantages: traffic is terrible, easy to get lost
...Not only is Atlanta often 95 degrees farenheit in the shade in summer months, but it's one HOT city for career opportunities, night-life, unbelievably affordable housing on large lots of land compared to any other city in the world, and great people to meet. In the metro Atlanta area, you can buy a very nice, large home on a full acre of wooded land for $180,000 easy. The newer homes are being built on much smaller lots but there are still an abundance of homes built in the 1970's and 80's that have lots of land, trees and space galore. This is the time to move here...

...For some of you looking to settle down in a city that is metropolitan and yet affordable, then this is one option you shouldn't overlook. Normally, we think of cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and the rest as real metro cities and true they are. But Atlanta, not having perhaps half of the skyscrapers these other cities have is a big contender for the person that wants to have a bit of both urban and sub-urban worlds in one city.
My first surprise was when we were approaching touch down. there being so much haze in the air I could not see the city skyline from a distance, but what was the real surprise was the amount of forest scattered across the city. Yes forest, not just trees. Atlanta is a heavily wooded city. It's a bit hard to describe cos I've not encountered a city with so much greenery.
The airport is said...
