My family went on holiday to Jamaica and stayed here. 2 adults and 2 children. We had a fabulous time! The Hotel was great - our room was very spacious with 2 double beds, ensuite bathroom and tv. We had a balcony and the most gorgeous sea view on the 7th floor OUSTANDING!!!!!
We were on an all inclusive stay so all the food was free. It was amazing. There were several different places to eat within the Hotel all but 2 were very relaxed bar/grill type places. There are 2 very posh restaurants there for which during a 2 week all inclusive you get to eat in twice (once each). The food and service in these restaurants is excellent!!! There were 4 waiters to every table and no sooner had you taken a sip out of your drink - it was refilled.
The staff were wonderful and very friendly. They went out of their way to help you and make sure you had all you needed.

Every evening there were activites and entertainment in the Hotel. Everything from Manager's cocktail evening, to cabarets and crab racing!

Our rep was great and helped us to book some extra excursions around the island. She was very approachable and friendly.
Recommended trips would be to Dunns River Falls (but make sure you get a guide to take you up the waterfall or it can be very dangerous!) and the Black river. If you go to Black River, you can go out on the boats to see the beautiful surroundings - watch out the for crocdiles though! (we were assured they were tourist friendly!) And try YS falls - much smaller waterfalls that at Dunns River but just as beautiful. They only allow a certain amount of visitors in very day so it doesn't get swamped out.

The water park at the Hotel was fantastic, loved by kids and adults alike! We spent many an hour there!! It has a current running through it, so you can just float around to your hearts content! They are always large rubber rings lying around for you to sit on if you want. There's also a huge water slide which you can climb up and come down on the rubber rings - great fun! Really it is - even for grown ups!

There's a 'normal' pool too for those who prefer the more sedate holiday. Both pools have swim up bars in which make the most divine fresh cocktails! You can also just walk into the sea from just outside the cafe/bars. There are water sports available although I can't comment on those as I didn't have a go. Golf and tennis are also available and a gym.

There is a beauty salon where lots of hair braiding goes on as well as massages etc. My husband and I booked both booked a back massage to be done on the beach. It was heaven!

There is also a kids club which I can only leave a short comment for. My kids went to a 'Spong Bob' pool party and had a ball! Loads to each of the sweets and ice cream variety!

The entire holiday booked with Virgin was quite expensive, But it was what we expected. We were travelling long haul from the UK on a 2 week all inclusive holiday. It wasn't going to be really cheap! We felt we definately got value for money and would certainly go again.

Tipping is expected everywhere so be prepared. The Jamaicans are lovely people and very proud of their country. Go and see for yourself!

Welcome to Ciao! I am sorry for the low rating on your review, but you need to add a load more stuff too it in my opinion in order for you to get higher ratings. Just take a look at some of the areas you like, and see how the better reviews are written. Then, you can put this in to practice in your own time. Yes it won't come easily, but take a little time and it w ill do! Or if not, then shoot me!
