...Shanghai, is a very beautiful city in China.
The people are polite and well-educated. I was there during Christmas last year and i feel very cold. probably i was from the tropical climate region, so was not so used to the cold weather.
Siu lon bao is steam buns with stuffed meat and crab essense. The "siu lon bao" is in the yu garden district is very delicious. If you choose to eat on the street, you can line up and pay $10 Renminbi (RMB) for several buns. If you want to sit back and relax, you can go up to the second floor restaurant and order the buns. You can enjoy it when a cup of tea. It will cost you around $20 RMB. Ok, if you are still not happy, you can sit back, relax, have a cup of tea with the buns, and a spectacular view, it will cost you $30+ RMB.

...There is only one hotel in Shanghai that dominates the skyline, 'The Hotel' is Grand Hyatt Shanghai. It is a tall metallic building with stunning architectural design.
The reception of the hotel is located on the 54th floor and the hotel offers stunning view of Pudong.
There is French restaurant and Cantonese restaurant , steam and sauna, indoor swimming pool and gym and conference facilities.
If you pay extra for the regency club floor, you will be checking in at 72th floor with a lounge offering non-stop food and drink for room guest 24 hours a day.
Every room has a glass washing basin and an clever designed cupboard for storage and a transparent scale in the bathroom.
The desk lamp is controlled by sensor and you have to touch it in order to light it!

Advantages: Nice place to relax yet in the city, great place to shop for branded goods Disadvantages: better if the people there are more friendly
...Been to this place few years ago... A very very nice place with fast moving pace... Everyone on this street seems very fashionable. The tour guide told me women in Shanghai are willing to save all their money on meals just to get branded wears and at the same time go on diet.
The whole street along Shanghai Bund is filled with colonial type of building. Great historical architecture being one of the richest collection of art deco architecture in the world, housing most of the important buildings such as the banks and the consulates. Every one of the building are still very well maintained since 1940s. The whole stretch is all brightly lit up at night with very nice scenery no matter walking on the street or viewing it on the cruise. Day and night of the bund looks very different. Personally like the night view more.
