Advantages: A cheap holiday Disadvantages: week is long enough
I have just spent a week at the Iberostar Averroes Hotel in YasmineHammamet Tunisia during the Easter Holidays of 2007. I spent the week with my husband and three friends. My husband and I went half board whereas our friends were all-inclusive.
The Averroes Hotel is very striking with marble floors and high ceilings although felt a bit chilly inside. The reception staff were very ameniable and quickly organised us with our rooms. The porter very swiftly took our luggage up to the rooms.
The rooms are spacious and clean with large balcony. Separate bathroom and toilet. The rooms were cleaned daily and we often had fresh flowers. They did funny things with my pyjamas assorted shapes and patterns, I think they were very brave especially as I am going through the menopause but thats another story.
The hotel was directly on the beach ...
Advantages: Lighter/regular periods, no pregnancy, no side effects. Disadvantages: Can be difficult to remember to take it, other than that no problems.
I've been on the Yasmin pill for nearly a year now, and was prescribed it following an appointment with my doctor when I explained how irregular and painful my periods were. On hearing this, she prescribed me with the pill Yasmin and explained that I may experience some problems, but it was to be expected. If they got worse, then I would end up having to go back to change to another pill.
I never had to do that, even when I started it up for the first time I experienced no side effects. The only problems I had with headaches were caused by other factors. This is the first and only pill that I have personally tried, and I was (still am) surprised by the effectiveness.
I soon discovered that the little acne that still existed on my body soon went away better than when I tried using other acne treatments, and that my skin in general ...
Advantages: Location, facilities, size of rooms and the staff Disadvantages: None really
On my recent trip to Tunisia we stayed at two different hotels - one of them was this one, the El Mouradi Hammamet. The hotel is actually located in YasmineHammamet and is located just across the road from the beach and is only around the corner from the local amusement park, Carthage Land. The hotel is a 5 star hotel and is sold on a either a bed and breakfast, half board or full board basis.
When we arrived at the hotel it was already dark as we had travelled in on the late Tunisair flight and it was going on for about 11pm when we actually got to the hotel. The front entrance is all marble and quite wide - it was lit up with a lower light than normal and this gave the hotel a very nice look to it as it wasn't too bright!
Reception:
The reception area is quite large with the check in desk to the right hand side as you enter ...
