I have had food described ... ...different, fish cakes that more resembled cricket balls! But, I have had salads that have been out of this world with the most devine if small sauces. My husband asked for some ketchup on his burger and was given a teaspoon serving in a small pot!
I wish that I could say the staff make up for it - they are obviously not interested in the customers, only their jobs of moving stock around. ... more

on one floor and cheesy music on another it tends to be frequented by the skateboarders and alternatives.
Along with the nightclubs Cheltenham has lots of pubs many are chains like Yates?sWineLodge, Hogs Head, Witherspoons, O?Neills, Casa, Bar Med and The Toad these pubs have there own atmosphere, but there are many other smaller pubs that have there own different atmosphere and these are the ones to try when in Cheltenham, The ones I like are Tailors which one a sports night gets very full but is very friendly, The Frog & Fiddle is very much like a student union bar, The Dawn Run is on the opposite corner to Bar Med and is very Horse Racing orientated.
Places to eat include Petit Blanc owned by Raymond Blanc and The Daffodil are two of the towns best restaurants but along with these the town also have the fast food chains like Burger ...

this is a bowling alley (I?ve not been there, so couldn?t say how many lanes it has!) Also on this park are pubs, restaurants and a Travel Lodge
It was once said of Taunton that we had a pub for every day of the year, and a church for every Sunday!
In town there are many pubs ? it could be said too many to support a town of this size!! There are the usual Yate?sWineLodge, Weatherspoons and such. There are some smaller managed houses.
There are a number of nightclubs/late closing pubs, but I haven?t been to them, but judging by the amount of people milling about town wearing nearly nothing at midnight they must be OK!
There are quite a lot of good places to eat both at lunchtime, and in the evenings. One particular building, used to be called ?The Tudor Tavern? it is now a ?Café Nero? is where Judge Jefferies is reputed to ...
