Cycling in Cyprus
I went to Cyprus to have a combination exercise and a relaxing holiday. Turning left out of the hotel was a small (rutted) road that went parallel to the coast, with a left road dropping down to another secluded bay. Turning right took us up a small hill to the main road in the area, not a hard climb but a bit of a lung opener. We spent a bit of time going along this main road, the surface was good and it was pretty flat for a 30-minute ride before we ended up into town. There was a left turn from the main road, which led up into the hills, with a HARD 30 minute...

Advantages: cheap, good location Disadvantages: don't ask for an upgrade
...The Best Western Eden Hotel is, unusually for Amsterdam, situated in an idyllic location next to one of the canals that decimate the city. It is within walking distance of many of the squares, flower markets and a short tram ride away from the city centre. There are plenty of places to eat and drink close by and we (me + wife) spent a couple of nights trying out the bars back in 2004. Hence, be prepared for sketchy memory and vague references to things half-remembered.
To save time, my opinion of this place is mixed and juggles a balance of cheap and weird.
The Outside

Advantages: Location, Location, Location.... Disadvantages: I'm so unfit!
...not allow smoking though some bedrooms are allocated thus as is one of the bars. Though not openly condoning the practice, the hotel recognised that the provision of ashtrays on a cold November night were appropriate in comparison to smoking guests dying of hypothermia due to extended exposure to cold temperatures in the unforgiving place that is known as the Derbyshire Peaks.
~ The Grounds/surrounding areas ~
As well as the staff, the surrounding area was the other gargantuan selling point of the hotel, and though it does not reflect the standard of the hotel itself, one without the other would have felt like Helen of Troy without the thousand battleships…just a pretty face. Mental stimulation was not dependent on scaling near vertical climbs as the River Dove was easily accessible and huge steps at certain potential lung straining points...

My impressions of this game when I saw it advertised on the internet was that it looked like a completely different type of game that I'm used to seeing for the DS.
