...There was a time when I was growing up when my family suddenly became a little bit more affluent. My Dad had worked all of his life in the Sheffield Steelworks and had been made unemployed. That was a difficult time but just when things were starting to look grim he got another job.
This job came with a Company Car and he had a good Boss. One of the perks of this job was that was that he was allowed to take his wife and kids (my brother and myself) out for a meal every week, as long as the total bill did not exceed £60. For the next couple of years my Mother never had to cook another Sunday Lunch.
YeOlde Cheshire Cheese Inn, located in the Derbyshire Town of Castleton was one of several Pubs/Restaurants where we became regulars.

Advantages: Cheap beer, good food Disadvantages: Difficult to find who you're meeting
...One of the oldest pubs in Fleet Street, YeOlde Cheshire Cheese is a treasure trove of small snug bars and drinkable, quality beer.
My eyes always glaze over and say "take me to your landlord" when someone tells me of a Sam Smiths pub. A friend took me here after a long day in the office when we both needed a drink to unwind; as I walked through the door I spotted the signs and realised I was in for a treat. When I'd ordered a pint of Old Brewery for myself, and a white wine for my companion, my wallet also realised I was in for a treat, as the prices are extremely reasonable. One pound sixty something for a pint is very reasonable, although the range of beers is limited to only the brewery's own bitter, stout and two lagers, so for those wedded to one particular brand this is not the place for you.

Advantages: wonderdull bell and building Disadvantages: a little crowed in festivalf
...there are many temples in beijing,i have visit some of them, big bell temple is also called 'jue shen templ,buit in qing dynasty.there are 6 main building: 'shan men.,'tian wang dian,'da xiong bao dian',guan yin pu sa dian', cang jing ge'which place the buddist books.
the big bell is placed in 'da zhong dian' which with four window for the 4 side of the building, the bell was made of brass in 500 years ago,highth: 6.75 meter,outside diameter: 3.3 meter, thickness of the material :0.22 meter,weight :a bout 46.5 ton.this bell is hanged by a little metal nail. many pieces of the buddist books are carved on the bell.at enening, the sound of the bell can transfer to a long distance.
so the temple is famous for the bell.
the scene is very pretty, there are many big and old trees...
