There was a time when I was growing up when my family suddenly became a little bit more affluent. My Dad had worked all of his life in the Sheffield Steelworks and had been made unemployed. That was a difficult time but just when things were starting to look grim he got another job.
This job came with a Company Car and he had a good Boss. One of the perks of this job was that was that he was allowed to take his wife and kids (my brother and myself) out for a meal every week, as long as the total bill did not exceed £60. For the next couple of years my Mother never had to cook another Sunday Lunch.
YeOlde Cheshire Cheese Inn, located in the Derbyshire Town of Castleton was one of several Pubs/Restaurants where we became regulars.

Breakfast each morning was from 8.30 - 9.30. As keen walkers, we would have preferred breakfast a little earlier. However, breakfast was excellent - the 'full English' for hearty appetites or any combination of lighter meals if required. The staff were more than happy to accommodate you. It must be said ...
I've been here getting on for around a week now and I must say that I have had an excellent time so far. Before accepting the offer to go Worcester I travelled to it to investigate it and to see if it was for me. After travelling around some of the other universitys that I got into I came to the conclusion that this one was more for me conpared to any of the others.
Size
*********
I've found that its small which makes it quaint in my eyes and from my opinion however I find a city that is huge can be a little too big and can appear scary and overwhelming at times. Worcesters size is perfect offering up Night Clubs, Food, Shops and culture.
The University was originally opened as an emergency teaching college until only recently in the last few years it has been granted the ability to become a university. This means it has being ...
