First rate! Ate there two evenings - the first a Saturday they fitted us in although very busy - the wine is absolutely superb (chosen red and white by the glass), and service great too. A very happy experience for us on both occasions (we are 67 and 71 in age and well practised at eating-out!) [dated September 2008].

...Driving northbound on the Sligo to Donegal road (N15) you are sure to drive through the picturesque village of Drumcliff. The Churchyard here is internationally recognised as the burial place of the poet WB.Yeats making this the definitive heart of Yeats Country.

Yeats Tavern Restaurant and Davis's Pub is situated 5 miles from Sligo on the main Donegal road and is within walking distance of W.B. Yeats burial place. This establishment is very popular with locals, passing trade and tourists and has evolved from a public house to an award winning bar, restaurant and dining facility, which offers excellent food at reasonable prices.
