Sana'a - a MUST visit place.....
Review of Sana (Yemen) by TheJudge1979

Advantages: Historical place, Simple people, cheap life and beautiful seens
Disadvantages: It can be a little awkward dealing with some people

...professional driver to drive in Sana as it can get very crowded and people do not really follow the rules and regulations of the roads. You better be very careful and it is always better to have a big massive car to scare them off! Restaurants, take aways and cafés are everywhere including international famous names such as Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), Pizza Hut, Burger king and others. I had the chance to see Naseem Hameed's villa, it was huge, ...
...posh area too. In general, it is a great experience as the weather was always cool, people are simple and life is cheap and cheerful. Most Arabic language student go to Sana'a to study as there are a number institutions and universities that teach Arabic language for foreigners. In my opinion Sana'a and Yemen in general is the best place to study the Arabic language, as the spoken Arabic in Yemen is somehow more clearer than the other Arab countries ... Read review

There is a little ...
...before the queen Elizabeth visit Aden when Aden city was under British colony so anyone coming from the sea can see the Beg Bin even you coming by the plane. The people are helpful and friendly with everyone. There are many old places built before 1000's years around the city you can visit it. Most likely the city is old city, as most the buildings been built when the British colony was there. Even the place where the queen Elizabeth stay still ... Read review

Aden is the economic capital of Yemen. A former British colony, this city located on the arabian peninsula on the mouth of the red and arabian sea is a gem to visit. The weather is consistanlt warm throughout the year. Best time to visit is between September and January where is it moderate at about 20+ degrees. Forget going in the summer months. The city has vast gold sandy beaches with clear blue waters, All beach hotels provide access to numerous ...
...The great thing about Aden and Yemen as a whole is that when you visit it is like going back time, with the amazing scenary of buildings and landscape. It is not as devloped as Dubia et al, but what you have here is the true arabia, with the true customs. I found the city to be very safe, in fact i felt more safer there than i would in the UK. a great alternatuive break where you can forget the stress of UK life and enjoy a truley laid back location. ...
