In general, it is a great experience as the weather was always cool, people are simple and life is cheap and cheerful.
Most Arabic language student go to Sana'a to study as there are a number institutions and universities that teach Arabic language for foreigners. In my opinion Sana'a and Yemen in general is the best place to study the Arabic language, as the spoken Arabic in Yemen is somehow more clearer than the other Arab countries as the people still preserved the some of the old pronunciation of the language plus some people can be very sociable so do not be surprised of people approaching you, asking you questions and/or having conversations with you without knowing who you are.

...Aden is the economic capital of Yemen. A former British colony, this city located on the arabian peninsula on the mouth of the red and arabian sea is a gem to visit.
The weather is consistanlt warm throughout the year. Best time to visit is between September and January where is it moderate at about 20+ degrees. Forget going in the summer months.
The city has vast gold sandy beaches with clear blue waters, All beach hotels provide access to numerous water sports activities.
Aden is the most liberal part of Yemen and city itself has amazing architecture and history such as the ancient water cisterns.
People are very friendly and local shopping and food is as cheap as you can get for such a holiday.
The great thing about Aden and Yemen as a whole is that when you visit it is like going back time, with the amazing scenary...

...My story in Aden city as many cites in Yemen there are many things to visit in Aden but I didn't like the weather and the transport.
The places I had visit is the beaches as you can say all the city in side the sea so you will see the sea from every where in the city include the mountains
The shopping centres around the city but the main one in the town of the city called Crater is the bigger one and you can find anything you want. There is a little Big Ben in Aden as I know it is the second Big Ben after the original Big Ben in London and this Big Ben built before the queen Elizabeth visit Aden when Aden city was under British colony so anyone coming from the sea can see the Beg Bin even you coming by the plane.
The people are helpful and friendly with everyone.
