Wander on Inn to this fab hostel!

Advantages: Price, food and location!
Disadvantages: The bed's were too old and the shower could be cleaner!

179 East 94th street, New York, NY 10128 www.wanderersinn.com Rowdy travelers, dirty rooms shared with 10 complete strangers who look like they haven?t washed their clothes in months. Sounds about right for your average hostel. Not the Wanderers Inn! I?d always wanted to go to NY and this year my boyfriend offered to take me for my birthday. I imagined staying in a nice hotel in the middle of Manhattan but the hotels were very expensive ($100 a night each in some cases!) You can imagine our complete horror, shortly followed by moans of ?I?ll never get to go!? from me. But I was determined to go, so I needed to find a bargain. Knowing a few people who?d been to NY before I asked about accommodation. One friend recommended staying in a hostel. My first thought was ?but we?ll have to share with lots of other people?, but she ...

Great Hostel

Advantages: clean, tidy, quiet, friendly, just like home
Disadvantages: none

We weren't planning on staying in Hervey Bay, but last minute we decided we would, the night we were due to arrive I rang to book accommodation for 2 nights everywhere was very booked up. The person I spoke to on the end of the phone was very helpful, we wanted a double room for two nights but he could only get us in for one, so we booked one night in a double room and then one night in a 3 bed dorm. On arrival, he picked us up from the coach, the accommodation in all was small with I think 4 units, each unit/mini flat had a kitchen, bathroom, and then I believe a double room a twin room and then a 3 bed dorm, the first night we stayed in the double, it was clean comfortable and well looked after. The second night we had moved into the room next door (in the same unit) again we were well looked after and the room was clean tidy and just ...

Not Craps Causeway...at all!

Advantages: huge, many shops...awesome building!
Disadvantages: can get VERY busy!

CRIBBS CAUSEWAY ----------------------------- Last week I was sat at home feeling a little bored and wondering what to do at the weekend. My partner suggested a visit to The Mall @ Cribbs Causeway. It was such a surprise as my other half hates shopping but he was suddenly keen to drive for three hours up to Bristol. I soon realised the next day that this could have had something to do with the fact Katie Price aka Jordan was visiting to sign her new fragrance. Although the South West have been blessed in recent years with two major shopping centres we still feel a little deprived compared to London, Manchester, Birmingham and Newcastle etc. The Princess Hay in Exeter and the Drake Circus in Plymouth are all lovely shopping centres but do not provide the same sort of experience as shopping at the Mall @ Cribbs Causeway. GETTING ...
