We booked a ghost tour with www.gothicmolly.co.uk for halloween because we wanted something different, it was about a £1 more than the others but there were 2 great storytellers, like a weird victorian gothic couple, they took us round intriguing haunted places with great stories, and we went into haunted pubs, and had readings with a medium. It was super value and i am thinking of going again with my mates from work as an office doo. It does last a couple of hours and takes in several pubs so its probably not suitable for kids. also a real medium might be a bit freaky, but she was actually lovely and amazingly accurate. Probably the best thing about the evening was that we met so many wonderful people on the tour, we even met some the next night for a drink, I dont think that would happen on shorter ones. I have been to York many times, and learn something new each time, this one was a real eye opener, and is highly recommended for a great night out.
