Firstly, I really am not sure whether I am going to find enough superlatives to accurately describe this hotel, but we'll see how we go…

Location
~~~~~~~
The hotel is located on the northern tip of Soho on Berners Street, just off Oxford Street.
The nearest tube station would be Oxford Circus, but Tottenham Court Road would not be too much farther to walk. Generally, because of where I park my car when I travel to London, Oxford Circus is an easier tube stop for me to get to this particular hotel.
As you walk up Berners Street, with Oxford Street to your rear, then the hotel is located approximately 200 yards on the left hand side, beyond The Berners hotel, that you may note on the right hand side...
...for each part of the trip.
In this case, there were three adults travelling together from London Heathrow to JFK in New York with American Airlines. The stay was for four nights, room only at The Roosevelt Hotel in early June 2006. As a package, we paid £480 per person for this trip. On a nightly basis, this probably works out around £120 per room (flights just over £300 per person). As has always been the case with Expedia, booking was very easy and no problems at all with our reservations. The hotel does have it's own website which can be used for reservations, but I would suggest if you need a flight as well, try and book these at the same time as you often get a discount. Advantages: Clean, nice rooms - amazing views from roof top balcony Disadvantages: 24 Hour coffee bar was actually a vending machine!!
Just as a side note before I start the review of the hotel, the weather was fantastic and for much of the time we went out regularly in T-shirts.
Anyway we stayed at The Bentley Hotel for the whole of our stay and overall we were impressed and enjoyed our time there.
**ABOUT THE HOTEL**
The Bentley is a 3 star hotel which was built in 1904 and last renovated in 2002, however I have a feeling some renovation may be going on now as the roof top restaurant has been closed until further notice.
It has 197 rooms in total, which range in quality depending on which sort you book. We had a regular room but found this to be very satisfactory. There was plenty of room from...
Just got back from a 2 night 3 day stay at the New York and it was great! Hotel is in a excellent location, a 2 minute walk from the Disney Village and only 5 minutes from the Disney Parks. Check in was 3pm but the hotel allowed us to check in at 10:30... more
The New Yorker is in an excellent midtown location with the subway (lines A, C & E) literally steps outside. Being on the corner of 8th Avenue and 34th Street this meant good access to Macy's, Empire State Building, Madison Square Gardens and the... more
Basically, if you're considering staying here, you probably have a small budget. If this is the case, I can reccommend it as it is great value for money. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms are basic yet clean, and the breakfast is more
