great service great value!

Advantages: value for money, size of room, cleanliness
Disadvantages: location ashame it wasn't a bit close to city

I stayed at the premier inn last month in a family room for just 65.00 for the night which I thought was an excellent price considering the size of the room. The room was very clean and above expectations. It is 3 miles from the city centre but very close to the park and ride just down the road which runs every ten minutes into the city centre we found this very usefull. Very disappointing

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Expensive mistake

We have never been so disappointed with a supposedly 'luxury' hotel. Despite booking a 'deluxe' room, the room was tiny, the bath was stained and suitable only for the short of limb, the 'castle' view was of the castle car park and the deluxe package of fruit, wine, dressing gowns was no where to be found. Hen night at Marriott York

Advantages: Location, facilities
Disadvantages: maintenance/cleanliness

I spent an overnight weekend stay at this hotel earlier this year for my hen night. There was a group of 9 of us and we managed to get triple rooms (2 double beds) and the reception staff were helpful as I changed my booking twice due to numbers in my party. Advantages: Polite and helpful staff, clean hotel.
