Advantages: friendly people Disadvantages: I didnt have enough time!
Yorkshire Motor Museum, probably the friendliest place on earth!

Spent a very enjoyable couple of hours here yesterday afternoon.
the staff were putting the final touches to a 1908(i think) Pannard ready for MOT so it could be used in the London to Brighton run in November.
This is such a friendly place to visit staff will listen to your questions and treat you as a equal not looking down their noses like some museum staff.
The standard of the cars/bikes was exceptional and it is good to see the various stages ... ...PLEASE make a donation as it is a charity and cannot survive without funding.
This must be one of Yorkshires best kept secrets.
Treat yourself and visit you wont regret it.The staff deserve to see more people The museum is at the rear of Alexandra mills and is signposted as you come into Batley from the M62 at its junction with the M606. The museum is a workshop where the cars are being worked on as well as a display area and the cafe in the mill ...
