INTRODUCTION
Our Nintendo Wii has been hibernating under our TV, gathering dust since shortly after Christmas. The Wii party games made a brief appearance for the holidays and the shine of Wii Fit wore off after our New Year?s resolutions met with their usual success and longevity (i.e. none). It?s a fab console, but it?s very ease of ?pick up and play? makes it just as easy to ignore in favour of other pursuits. However, we were intrigued by the promise and novelty of the new Wii MotionPlus gadget, and when Wii Sports Resort (WSR) ? essentially Wii Sports 2 ? was announced, it was immediately added to our Wish List. As such, I was delighted when I received it for my birthday last week, and It has played a part in our nightly entertainment since.

This next review is on my time on The Blue Mountains National Park, located in Sydney Australia. A few friends and I had decided to hire a van and take a tour of the national park, as we had been recommended it by several people we had met along the way. I am usually a fan of national parks; it gives you a chance to take in the scenic view, it gives you a chance to relax and unwind if you have had a busy week, and you even get to see some wildlife. It?s a great experience, which allows you to camp overnight, whilst also have a magnificent driving experience.

Wii Sports Resort
One special day last year, I woke up unusually early - it was even still dark outside. I just couldn?t wait to get downstairs and go into the living room, but I couldn?t - not just yet anyway. It?s something we always do in my family, we must all go downstairs at the same time, together. Not every morning! Just on this particular special day, so I called my mum and dad - my two younger sisters were already up, practically buzzing with excitement at the top of the stairs - and together we all walked, or rather sprinted into the living room.
